The InterContinental New York Barclay features 704 rooms and 32 suites across 13 floors, with options starting at 275 square feet that contain a king bed or two double beds. Every room includes an iPod docking station and cable TV with a DVD player. Rooms are furnished in Federalist and Park Avenue style. Some rooms have views of the city with windows on both sides. Marble bathrooms include heated floors and custom toiletries; some bathrooms have a walk-in rain shower, while others offer a shower with a tub. Select suites feature separate living areas, pantries, and high floors. The Presidential Suite spans 3,400 square feet and includes a private gym, library office, and baby grand piano. Connecting rooms are available to create larger suites.
Dining at The Barclay
The Parlour restaurant offers meals made with herbs from the hotel's rooftop garden. The Gin Parlour stocks more than 80 types of gin. A full breakfast includes scrambles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit, and yogurt. In-room dining is available for breakfast from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM and for all-day dining from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM daily. Spritz & Shuck is available daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Parlour Bar & Restaurant, offering half a dozen oysters paired with a spritz for $30. Club InterContinental(R) members receive a full breakfast, snacks, and beverages, including wine, cheese, and canapes every evening, and now the SOLATO Gelato Machine.
